History
Like all Sangheili born into the Veros clan, Zaro was an exceptional leader. He was sent into his first battle with the humans on the first battlefield of Harvest he quickly climbed the ranks up to the rank of Ranger during that battle. In the following years he showed an exceptional ability to recover human constructs and the ability to work with them.

Veros was given the rank of Zealot during a battle in the outer regions of the human worlds, during which he captured the entire command crew of a human base and recovered the construct held there. During the battle of Epsilon Erendi He and his Zealot team recovered a human construct and destroyed the base as well as recovering a human solders helmet logs. Later during that battle he witnessed his friend Alie 'Iaken'ee' (a major) Fight against her first ODST, she was the victor but her entire team was killed. The two of them were ordered by their shipmaster to find a lost zealot team at a human base. Once there they fought against five 'Demons' as well as the humans solders. Once they made their way into the base they found the zealot team all dead, inside the room they found another human construct. The duo took the construct and left, on the command vessel they found that the construct held the coordinates to what the humans call the doorstep to their home world of Earth, a planet that they called Reach. Veros was promoted to Field Marshal and Alie promoted to zealot for recovering such a construct.

During the battle of Reach Veros commanded a squad of Zealots to the planet to recover any and all data at a relay station near sword base which was to be assaulted after the mission was completed. Veros captured the lead scientist and tortured it for information, he then found codes and a data pad hidden near the relay console after which Veros impaled his sword in the humans chest. The squad heard combat outside and hid once the humans entered Veros cursed his luck as the ones who came were the dreaded 'Demons' he waited for the big one they called George to hear the girl Say "They're still here" as soon as she said that the 'Demon tensed and ducked just in time for Veros to miss his first sword swing.

He stood still for one second and judged his foes. He knew he could take the two blue ones easily, and the one behind him could be taken out by his squad but, he had an odd feeling about the last one, his instincts told him that he could not win the fight. So he charged at the left on near the console but the one in the middle pulled it back in time for Veros to only destroy the console.

While this happened the last Demon was firing its weapon at him, the weapon barely took out Veros' shield before he charged at the 'Demon' and pushed it away knocking its weapon from its arms and allowing Veros to escape.

During the time of the civil war he choose to side with the arbiter after all his fellow field Marshals were killed by a brute kill team in their sleep. He fought on the ark along side a group of ODSTs in which he gained a great deal of respect from them with his no one gets left behind ideals. They earned his respect as well, after they spared a group of grunts who begged for mercy. Zaro was the leader or the ground forces of the fleet of particular justice, but before he could get his ship into position to jump to slip space with the supreme commander’s personal ships and follow the pillar of autumn it was disabled by an EMP blast in the reactor room luckily nothing was irreparably damaged and no one died in the blast what caused it no one knows but Zaro made sure it never happened again.

Facts
Zaro is the only one of the Veros blood-line to reach the rank of Field Marshal.
Veros does not believe that the humans should be there enemies. But rather allies.
